Reopening of le Musée de l’Homme

After a full renovation that lasted over 6 years, one of the famous museums located in the Palais de Chaillot has reopened on October 17th. The whole Passy wing of the palace (16000 square meters) has been fully reshaped and the listed “Davioud”glass roof received a specific restoration.

Who are we? Where do we come from? Where are we going? A brand new Galerie de l’Homme, on 25000 square meters, an auditorium, a space dedicated to temporary exhibitions and close to 735000 objects are presented to unveil the secrets of Mankind.

A small institution itself inside the museum, the Café de l’Homme will also present a brand new décor soon: completely Art Déco with a contemporary brasserie menu and a terrace with an enchanting view on the Eiffel tower.

Do not miss this visit while exploring the 16th district during your stay at the Saint James Paris!
