In 1892, on Paris’ first airfield where hot air balloons used to take off, Mrs Dosne-Thiers had a foundation built in memory of her husband, the French President Adolphe Thiers. For nearly a century, the Thiers Foundation hosted the most talented French students in this grand neo-classical mansion.

In the heart of Paris’ most upscale neighbourhood, it is nowadays the only chateau-hotel of the capital, as well as the home of the very private Saint James Club. Surrounded by its private gardens, the wealthy residence offers tailored services to each guest.

The entire house has been redesigned by the dream-maker Bambi Sloan who added her touch of extravaganza to its homey atmosphere. A promise of an unforgettable stay.
